For a face mask that is not of medical quality, this is really one of the best masks just for features. Not only does it offer an adjustable nose wire and elastic bands, but it also has a pocket for a filter or even just a napkin - which increases its efficacy, (I use coffee filters myself! )Of course it's reusable and washable. Recent studies show that multiple layers of mask and filters increase your protection. Keep in mind that an N95 mask has 5 layers! It is recommended that you combine this mask or any other cotton or polyester fabric mask with a filter and another mask beneath for better protection. Some are using K95 masks as the under mask; but when a K95 is not an option, just combine with another cotton mask beneath. I, myself, combine two, putting the one that matches my outfitting on top.
