DetailsThis beautiful, unique Lois Sattler porcelain sculpture doubles as a vase. It was my mother's, and it was purchased at an art faire back in the 1980's. It features a woman's face on the front, and is done in blue and white. It has Sattler's initials on the bottom, and what looks like the number 1. Not sure of the significance. While I could not find another of her art from this period, it does resemble one of her current sculptures that is available on a few different sites on-line. Her newer vases fetch about $625 a piece.
This vase/sculpture measures approximately 13 inches in height, 6 inches in width, and has an opening that is about 4 inches wide. It weighs at least 10 pounds.
